Amy M. Wieck was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Studio Art from Florida State University in 1992. Thoroughly enjoying the state she grew up in, she now resides in Longwood, FL as a sculptor, scenic artist, and make-up artist who mixes it all together to create sculptures and props for theme parks, museums, trade shows, and private homes world wide. Her work can be seen in Universal Studios Florida and Japan, Disney, Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museums, and the Holy Land Experience. She uses an endless array of materials and specializes in detail oriented techniques such as lifecasting –a process of making impressions directly from people in order to capture a moment in time. When she is not working or actively engaged in the local art scene, she can be found exploring the waterways in her kayak.
