1. What are the tile specifications?

In general, our tiles have a depth of approximately .25 inches. Some of our outdoor tiles or pool tiles have a depth closer to 3/8”. Our tiles are made of ceramic, porcelain, glass, aluminum and marble, although we are constantly researching and developing new materials.

2. Can the tile be exposed to the elements? (i.e. water; sun; heat; etc.)

This depends largely on the material used to create the tile. Porcelain tiles, Glass tiles and “Aqua Tiles” may be used in any environment. Ceramic tiles should be used only in interior installations. Aluminum tiles may be used outdoors so long as they are not immersed in water.

3. How durable are your decos?

DM Decos has some of the most durable accent pieces on the market. Under normal wear and tear, our tiles perform extremely well.

4. Do you provide a warranty?

DM Decos provides a Limited Warranty on defective tiles and is limited to original residential installations of our tile. The exclusive remedy for valid claims under this Limited Warranty shall, at DM Decos' option, be replacement of the defective tile with a comparable item, or return of the product to DM Decos and refund of the applicable portion of the purchase price. This Limited Warranty is limited to replacement of products only, and DM Decos by Design, Inc. will not be responsible for shipping costs of the replacement product, nor any costs associated with the removal or installation of any tile, including labor and material costs. DM Decos by Design, Inc. shall have no liability or responsibility resulting from manufacturing defects or improper installation and must receive notification as soon as reasonably possible, but in no event later than the end of the one year warranty period.

5. What are the terms and conditions?

6. Do you update your website information?

Yes. Please visit it often for updates, additions to our product line, and information on upcoming DM Decos trade shows and activities.

7. How do I order? Can I order online?

We have provided a standard Pro-Forma Purchase Order on our website. Simply download and fill out the form, leaving the PO number blank, and fax the information to us at (888) 636-3326. Because at this time all orders are “Special,” please contact a Customer Service Representative (888)6DM-DECO Extension 2 to discuss your order before submitting it. Payment is by credit card or by check. Currently, on-line ordering is not available, although this will be a feature on our site in the future.

8. How do I become a dealer or distributor of your beautiful products?

DM Decos wants you as a customer and will do everything in our power to turn you into a customer and to keep you a customer. Simply let us know your intention to become a dealer or distributor by contacting us at 1-888-6DM-DECO and speak to Suzanne at extension 2. We will provide you with catalogues and all the information you need. Please note that we do not "saturate" markets and that there may already be representation of our product line in your locality. We are expanding fast!

9. How often is the catalogue updated?

The on-line catalogue is updated on a regular basis. We provide additions to the catalogue as new designs and products become available. In between new editions of the catalogue, we will provide information on additions to our product line by emails directing you to the website to see the full product line.

10. Do you have a sample program? Are the samples representative of the actual product line?

We have a complete sample program. Please contact us for samples. While representative of the actual product, the actual product may vary slightly in material, thickness, or size.

11. How do I get more catalogues?

Simply e-mail us or call us.

12. How are the tiles shipped? What is the cost of shipping?

Tiles are shipped by USPS unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Cost of shipping varies depending upon location and quantity ordered. We always charge you our exact cost of shipping. We will gladly ship to you using your own accounts with these carriers.

13. What is the lead (turn-around) time?

The lead time is approximately four to six weeks. On items in stock, lead time is shorter.

14. Are your designs protected under intellectual property laws?

Yes, they are. Our logo, tag lines, and designs are protected under copyright and trademark laws.

15. How do we or our customers care for and clean the tiles?

The surface can be cleaned with any ordinary household cleaner, although a liquid, non-abrasive cleaner is best. Harsh chemicals like bleach should be wiped away shortly after application. Do not use abrasive implements for cleaning; for example, scouring pads and steel wool are not recommended.

16. What payment do you accept? How do I pay? What are the terms?

We accept a variety of payment forms. Please discuss payment and terms with the Customer Service Representative with whom you place your order. For most items, other than large orders which require 50% upon execution of the order and 50% immediately prior to shipment, payment is up front due to the customized nature of our products.
